On September 10-13, the most significant event in the economic, cultural and political life of Russia was held - Eastern Economic Forum-2023. The forum brought together and strengthened the ties between the Russian and the world investment community. Moreover, the EEF revealed the economic potential of the Far East region for doing business through expert valuation. Traditionally, the event took place in Vladivostok on the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) campus.
The Forum was attended by more than 7,000 participants and media representatives from Russia, China, India, Mongolia, Armenia and Myanmar, as well as from 60 other countries. The official business program of the event included panel sessions, roundtables and business dialogues with the partner countries in the Asia-Pacific region, and with ASEAN, a key organization bringing together the dynamically developing countries of South-East Asia.
Traditionally, the EEF hosted an industry exhibition “Far East Street”, which covered the most important investment projects, achievements in the spheres of tourism, culture and economy of the Far East regions. One of the main directions of the Jewish autonomous region is considered the development of the mining industry.
At the Forum in 2023, a project for the development of the Savkinsky deposit of bruсite was presented. Brucite+ specialists note that at present, the design of the Experimental Industrial Development quarry of the Savkinsky deposit is nearing completion. As part of this process, new grades of brucite ores are to be worked out. The preparation is under way for the production of the first experimental industrial batch, which is planned to be sold next year.
